Friday's Feast #5

Appetizer

Have you ever seen an angel?

Yes, I believe I have.  He was tall and blond, wearing a plaid winterized shirt, jeans and winter boots.  He helped me by pushing me out of my sloped driveway when we were in the process of moving to the acreage.  I was severely stuck, and the more I tried to get out, the worse the ice was becoming under my tires.  The "angel" came from out of nowhere, and no sooner had he helped me out of my predicament, he was gone.  I had never seen him before that, and I've never seen him since.

What is your favorite board game?

I have many, and they all revolve around words.  Some of the games include Beyond Balderdash, Outburst, Apples to Apples, ImaginIff, Scattergories and The Game of Things.

What was the last movie you saw that made you cry?

We recently watched August Rush with the boys.  I watched it about 4 or 5 years ago, but even knowing how it was all going to turn out in the end, it still made me cry.

What would you do if you had 3 months off from your job?

I would spend more quality time with my family and friends.  I'm finding that my coffee time with friends is lacking severely at the moment, and I'd love to spend more time with my boys doing "fun" stuff in life.  I would also work on projects around the house that I never seem to get to . . . for example, packing up out-grown clothes and taking them to a street ministry that we support.  The clothes are all there, ready to go, but I'm just not finding time enough in my week to actually organize and package them.

What kind of shoes are you wearing today?

At the moment I'm wearing Skechers . . . my new best friend in the shoe world.  The ones I have are very casual, so I don't wear them to work.  However, I have discovered that there actually are Skechers that would be appropriate for "dressing-up", so I'm going to have to find a store that carries them.

Kimmy,

Nice to see you back blogging. I REALLY like what you did with your tabs and pages and might steal your idea (if it's okay)

I must ask: Where do you get the questions that you answer? I think it's a great way for the reader to get to know you, the blogger.

I hope to have time to keep this up. I know this is and will continue to be a very busy school year for you.

Love you SOOOOOO much.
