Discoveries

Today I am thankful for . . .

605.  The gift of Landscaping Fabric.  This is my only hope to reduce the amount of weeds that continually build up in one of my flowerbeds.

606.  The gift of Discovering Good Recipes.

607.  The gift of An Excellent Watch-dog.  Thanks, Pepper!

Okay, you gotta share...what were your "good recipe" discoveries? I have just spent the last 3 days "researching" new recipes for our family. We all get tired of the same old stuff, and I would like to think that I have a fair bit of variety. Now I just have to wait for everyone to come home again so that I can try them out on more than Robin and I.

As for landscaping fabric...it does work well, though unless you maintain the bark dust or whatever on top, the weeds will still take hold and work their way through it. We just tore a bunch of landscape fabric out of our yard, but it was degrading after being there at least 10 or 15 years...that, and we have been making a lot of landscaping changes. It works best if you you are using it where all of the plants are exactly how you want them.
