Breaking Heart

How is it that a mother's heart can be so easily broken for her child(ren)? I guess it's because we are SO very connected to our children--right down to their very souls.

One of my boys isn't doing so well right now. His self-esteem is down the tubes and I feel so helpless as a mother. I'm praying for wisdom.

I know how he feels. I've been where he is. I just wish I knew what I could do to help him.

". . . when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you . . ."
James 1:2-5a (Amplified version)

I really want to get rid of this comment, but blogger won't let me. What I've been able to find out is that it came from a questionalbe, adult-only site. Not funny.
