Mom Prevents WW III

http://www.carson.army.mil/Deploy/index.html
Yesterday morning it sounded like WW III was beginning to break out in our house. Yes, the boys. Fighting. Arguing. Hurting. Yelling. It wasn't pretty.

Around noon I laid down the law. I had a private meeting with each of them and instructed them on what is and what is not acceptable as far as their behavior is concerned. Yes, we've had these discussions before, and they know what's right and what's wrong, but they need reminders every now-and-then.

I alerted the boys to the specific consequences they'd receive for certain actions, and apparently they don't want to receive the consequences, because they've been getting along.

As the arbitrator, I was able to stop WW III from emerging.

And I am happy to report that they are now playing "MacGyver" together.

Lol, way to go! I remember those weeks when the kids were home from school. It's hard. You seem to be handling things well though. God bless. :~)
