Today I am thankful for . . .
587. The gift of a Clean House. It took me all day, but I did it!
588. The gift of Cool Rain to bring the temperature down this evening. The house didn't get quite as hot today as it did yesterday, but it was still pretty hot . . . especially since I was actually doing some light activity while I was cleaning the house.
589. The gift of An Invitation to Visit a New Friend. She and I were working at the VBS registration desk together and while we knew who each other were, and had a few brief conversations in our life, we are now going to get together for coffee. I really, really like this gal and I am really looking forward to getting to know her more.

Just finished reading through the last week and a bit of your posts. We were away. So sorry to hear about Harpo. Pets become a part of our families and it's a loss that our hearts feel when they pass.
It looks like you had lots of fun with VBS. So very cool that you got to meet a fellow blogger. I have copied her link and am adding it to my reading list.
