Four by Four

Today I am thankful for . . .

432.  The gift of Vivid Imaginations.  My boys both have one.  You should see the jousting game they've come up with.  All I can say is that they don't need a phys-ed. program.  They've made up their own.

433.  The gift of Plans Coming Together.  This Saturday is our Women's Listening Retreat at church.  I've been in charge of ticket sales and am also organizing the food for the event.  It's nothing earth-shattering, but I love it when little details come into place.

434.  The gift of 4 x 4.  We've had a LOT of rain here (again) and it's difficult for me to maneuver my way on the grid roads with my little car.  Wayne let me use his truck to get to work today--what a lifesaver that was.

Can I just say that one of the things that I don't miss at all about living on a farm at the end of a 4 mile grid road is the mud! Half of our 25 minute trip into the city would be spent on getting down those four slippery miles until we hit the highway.
