Green-Colored Glasses, Affirmation & Math Makes Sense

Today I am thankful for . . .

91.  The gift of New Glasses for Mitchell.  He got his wish - glasses with the color green.

92.  The gift of Affirmation From My Boss.  When my boss gave me my schedule for February, he said, "As I was doing this schedule, I came to realize how indispensable you are . . . it's just not the same when you're not here."  I really like my boss; however, I've kind of been at a loss as to whether or not he appreciates having me around - the other E.A. and I were 'sent' to this school location due to job cut-backs and re-arranging of staff within the school division about 18 months ago.  My boss didn't have any say in this and was not involved in my hiring process.  So today when he said those words, it made me feel good about my efforts in a job I once had to drag myself out of bed for.

93.  The gift of Helping My Boys With Their MathGasp!  Can you believe I just said that?  I am especially loving the Grade 7 math.  I think that's because I finally get it, 28 years later!!!

I love your last point about helping your boys with their math. That's awesome that you're "getting it". I know it was so frustrating for you in school. Victory at last!
