Hi
I am a 59 year old Mother, Wife & Christian. Who just had the tyhrolcolassal duck cyst surgery Tuesday July 5, 2016. Pretty much a similar experience as yours , except I stayed overnight in the hospital . I was very nauseous & definetly felt better after getting off the medication for pain. Tylenol did just fine by me. I found your site because , of a cough I'm having since last night. I looked on my discharge papers but no mention of coughing. I will call the office when they open but, reading your blog was very helpful. You mentioned coughing , how long did it go on for you? I do have allergies & just started back on them post surgery. Yet .. I continue to cough. Has anyone experienced that?

Hi there Dodie Kelly: I am glad you found the site helpful. As far as my cough goes, I'm not sure how long it lasted. I had my surgery in the middle of a cold Canadian winter, so it is possible I had a bit of a cold and cough prior to surgery, but not bad enough that they had to reschedule. I suggest talking to your doctor and they should be able to assist you. Thanks for sharing a bit of your story. I'll be praying that you recover fully.

Thanks so much I did speak to my doctor and he feels I have like a little cold. It's definitely not related to the surgery. I really thank you for your help on your blog and answering my questions here. I started a small blogto answer additional questions about coughing after the surgery thanks so much I meant DKNY 57 nice talking with you.

Kimmy thank you so much for your blog and photos. I had this procedure done 4 days ago and was concerned about the swelling under my chin. After seeing your photos I now realize this is normal. So glad you have helped many by your blog . God bless you Kimmy
