A Letter of the Alphabet

I came across this quote a couple of days ago and thought I'd share it with you:

Most of the people I know who have what I want--which is to say, purpose, heart, balance, gratitude, joy--are people with a deep sense of spirituality . . . They are part of something beautiful.
I saw something once . . . that said,
'A human life is like a single letter of the alphabet.  It can be meaningless.  Or it can be part of a great meaning.'
~Anne Lamott~

Today I am thankful for . . .

365.  The gift of Formulating A New Friendship At Forty. (I'm not 40 yet, but I liked the sound of it to name the gift.)  I didn't think I would be making new friends this late in my life, but it is refreshing and fun and kind of scary all at once.

366.  The gift of A Very Enjoyable Evening with my boys.

367.  The gift of Doggy Cuddles.

You should be making new friendships your entire life! There are always great new people to reach out to.

(And YAY! I can comment again!)
