A Drummer, A Card and Anticipation

Today, I am thankful for . . .

13.  The gift of Ty's Drum Teacher, S . . . we said good-bye to him tonight as he is leaving on a missions trip next week; It's amazing how much one person can impact another in just a few months; S's love first and foremost for the Lord, his love of drumming, and dedicated teaching style has inspired and impacted Ty more than I realized . . . when Ty found out his teacher was leaving, he burst into tears and was close to sobbing.  We had to jump through a few hoops to work out a plan so that Ty can continue on with drum lessons with the new teacher recommended by S, and we pray that the transition will go smoothly.

14.  The gift of Personal Mail; with so much electronic communication these days, receiving physical Christmas cards, photos and letters over the past month has been a refreshing change.  We are still getting them, and soon it will be the second week of January!

15.  The gift of Anticipation.  We have lots to look forward to in the next several months and it makes my heart smile:) . . .
