Who Says Dogs Aren't Human?

If I hadn't seen this with my own eyes, I might not have believed it.
One afternoon we looked out through our dining room window and witnessed our dog, Pepper, climbing a tree. She was after a squirrel and was bound and determined to climb as high as she could in order to reach her target. It was hilarious to watch . . . she would jump up, climb the branches, jump down, and start all over again. We're not sure how or when she learned this . . . we've never coaxed her up the oak tree . . . she's just a determined dog, and I guess where there's a will, there's a way.

Hi Kim, that is so funny!! Dogs are super funny that way...I'm sure our dog could use pshyco-therapy after living with us so long, but he survives...but he can be strangley human sometimes. Anyway, just love your new look on the blog and the enthusiasm for the coming Christmas season :).

LOL! That is too funny, Kimmy. I'm glad you were able to catch it on film before Pepper jumped down.

Did she get the squirrel? I actually hope not!

Love the look of Christmas on your blog! And no, we cannot see those little wrench things. Only you.

Is there anything I can be praying for? Please let me know!

Amy: No, Pepper did not get the squirrel. Fortunately, the squirrel is capable of climbing higher than Pepper can.
