I had this operation last Wed and today (which is Day 5) has been the most difficult yet. For the first few days after surgery, fluids seeped out of my neck into gauze, but that stopped yesterday and I feel that the fluids are now trapped and pressing against my windpipe and throat, making it as hard to swallow as the first day of recovery. But for years, my infected thyroglossal duct cyst caused so many problems for me so I am still very excited to get through recovery onto what is hopefully an overall healthier state of being.<br /><br />I flipped through to some other pages on your blog and I find your spiritual comments inspiring.
