What did I do on Mother's Day? My day consisted of church in the morning, followed by lunch out at my favorite family restaurant, running a few errands and returning home to spend the rest of the day with my sister Tammy, her husband, and two of their kids. For supper? Vern's Pizza, salads and ice cream sundaes. Yep, I opted out of all major preparations. We didn't even use real plates. My gift? A family ring, which I've been hinting at for a long time! In case you're wondering, yes, I picked it out. I've got a thing for hearts! It was a pretty great day!
